Can you imagine life without social media!
Social media has taken over the lives of many people, with a large majority spending more hours than is probably necessary in an average day on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram just to name a few of the social sites. For many it is an addiction or maybe more of a habit and the love and need to post on a regular basis or read other people’s posts have taken over their lives. So how would those social junkies cope if it all came to a sudden and abrupt halt!
Without social media your spare time would most definitely be freed up to allow you to do more maybe around the house, with friends or family. There is a lot of debate about family time being missed because parents are spending too much time on looking at their phones or computers. There is also the privacy level as images are shared and within seconds and can end up all over the world, depending on who likes or comments on your photos.
Maximum exposure for business is great, as you want to get as you can. You want your photos, blog posts, articles or special deals to be shared far and wide. Without people sharing your posts, commenting or reposting the exposure wouldn’t be possible, so it does all really go hand in hand, with our personal lives as well as our business lives.
The world of social media is a false world in some respects as everyone posts the good stuff, the pretty images, and the happy moments, is this really such a bad thing! On the other extreme if you are in business and someone is not happy with your service they will post it on social sites and within seconds everyone knows what bad service you provided, so I guess in some ways it does keep businesses more honest!
